Jana was a simple girl and a native of Texas and she was a bit boyish. She grew up in a family with many male members. She is the only girl with four brothers. Her mother would tell her to start to move like a real lady as she is already on her teens. She would only tell her mother that there is nothing to worry about because she only does what she wants. Jana was a clever girl and one day she receives a letter from a university that she passed the entrance exam and got a scholarship. Her family was so grateful that she can now study on of the best universities in the United States of America. But her father was also sad that his one and only daughter would be living far from them. The family celebrated that night and her mother planned to buy her new dresses and shoes that she can wear in the university. Her best friend John was also there celebrating her success and gave her a bracelet as a sign of their friendship.

As everybody was sleeping, Jana was still awake thinking about the university life she could have. She will be studying together with students from rich families who were very fashionable. She’s afraid that her classmates would laugh at her if she’s out of the new fashion styles. Jana was only wearing a simple shirt together with jeans and a pair of sneakers. But she realized she was already a lady that needs to improve and start to keep her face beautiful. She imagines herself wearing a sexy dress and a beautiful pair of sandals and then everybody in the class looked at her amazingly. Jana finds herself laughing and could not sleep thinking about her future. It was a bit late when Jana sleeps with her face smiling.

As Jana woke up, she went to the kitchen and ate her breakfast. She then asked her mother about how she can make herself beautiful. Her mother brought her to a nearby salon to style her hair. She was more beautiful with her new hair style. After that, the two went to a shopping mall to buy new clothes for Jana. Her mother told her that it is also time for her to wear skirts, leggings and even dresses. At first, Jana do not want to but after fitting the new clothes and saw herself beautiful with it, she accepted the challenge and that is to be a lady. Her mother then brought her in the cosmetics section to buy cosmetics that could enhance her beauty. After shopping, Jana and her mother went home carrying many bags. It seems that Jana really needs a big make-over. Her family was glad that their little girl was already a lady.

A few weeks later, Jana travelled for the enrollment and start the university days. She lived in a dormitory and met Chloe her roommate. Chloe was from California and was so fashionable. Jana and Chloe were obviously opposite when it comes to their taste of styles. Jana would just put a picture frame of her family on her table and have a simple bed arrangement. Chloe on the other hand had many cosmetics arranged in her table using face mask every night. Even though, the two do not have the same interest, they have been the best of friends. They share their secrets and helped each other with their projects and other school activities. They have treated each other as a true sister and Jana could be seen where Chloe would be. They do things together such as shopping and going to the malls and even to the library. As time passes by, Chloe had helped Jana enhance herself and Jana started to be conscious with her beauty.

It was a birthday of Jana and Chloe gave her a present after they celebrated her birthday in a restaurant together with their classmates. Jana opened the box and saw a beautiful jack rogers sandals. Jana smiled and hugged Chloe as she felt an excitement and happiness having the sandals. It was so beautiful and she never expected she would have one like that. She was so thankful and Chloe told her that good shoes always bring you to beautiful places. That was one of the things a woman should always remember in choosing what to wear. And that was also the reason why Chloe was chosen as the Queen of the night in their prom last year. Chloe was wearing a beautiful, simple but elegant gown and paired it with a beautiful jack rogers sandals.

The prom was drawing near and the two girls were very excited. They planned to shop for the new gowns and sandals they will wear in the prom. Jana told Chloe that she do not have a lot of money to buy expensive gown and sandals but rather wear the jack rogers sandals that Chloe gave her. It was okay because the sandals were new and now the only problem they should solve is to find the best gown that fits Jana as well as her budget. Chloe really wants Jana to be a Prom Queen just like her. She ordered a gown online as she saw that it was a beautiful one for Jana. Jana felt more confidence as she saw her face in the mirror and been comfortable in wearing the sandals. She walked perfectly as what Chloe taught her because the sandals were so light and comfortable to wear. It was the most memorable evening for Jana as aside from dancing with her crush, she was also crowned as the Prom Queen and all of that was thanks to her fairy god friend Chloe.
